Abstract

Abstract

Teaching Islamic Cultural History (SKI) requires strategies that can enhance students’ focus and engagement in processing information. One method that can be used is Guided Note Taking (GNT), whether in conventional or digital formats. This study aims to analyze differences in SKI learning outcomes between the implementation of conventional GNT and digital GNT at MAN 11 Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach and a static group comparison design, the study was conducted with the 11th-grade Nakes class as the conventional GNT group and the 11th-grade Managerial class as the digital GNT group. Data were collected through a learning outcome test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions that had passed validity and reliability tests (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.745). Data analysis was performed descriptively and inferentially using normality and homogeneity tests, as well as a Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that the average learning achievement of students using digital GNT was 23.80, which was higher than that of the conventional GNT group at 19.47. The Paired Sample t-Test yielded a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two methods. These findings suggest that digital GNT is more effective in improving SKI learning outcomes because it helps students organize, elaborate, and review information more systematically.

Abstrak

Pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) memerlukan strategi yang mampu meningkatkan fokus dan keterlibatan murid dalam mengolah informasi. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah Guided Note Taking (GNT), baik dalam bentuk media konvensional maupun media digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar SKI antara penerapan GNT konvensional dan GNT digital di MAN 11 Jakarta. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain static group comparison, penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI Nakes sebagai kelompok GNT konvensional dan kelas XI Manajerial sebagai kelompok GNT digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar berupa 30 soal pilihan ganda yang telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0,745). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar murid yang menggunakan GNT digital sebesar 23,80 lebih tinggi dibandingkan GNT konvensional sebesar 19,47. Hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua metode. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa GNT digital lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar SKI karena mampu membantu murid mengorganisasi, mengelaborasi, dan meninjau kembali informasi secara lebih sistematis.
